- 2006 saw Gibson introduce VOS finishing to its Custom Historic models. The '57 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue features a mahogany body with maple top, rosewood fretboard, and Burstbucker pickups.
- Available in VOS and Gloss Antique Gold and Antique Gold Dark Back. During this time, a 50th Anniversary Model was also produced.
- Updated in 2013 to include Gibson's Custombucker pickups.
