Squier® honors alt-rock icon and Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis with a distinctive Jazzmaster® designed to deliver the massive tone, feel, and performance associated with his unmistakable playing style.

The J Mascis Jazzmaster features a basswood body finished in Vintage White, paired with a comfortable "C"-shaped maple neck and Indian laurel fingerboard. The 9.5" radius and 21 jumbo frets provide a modern, playable feel while retaining the character players expect from a Jazzmaster-style guitar.

A pair of single-coil Jazzmaster® pickups delivers everything from jangly cleans to thick, aggressive overdriven tones. The classic dual-circuit electronics provide separate lead and rhythm control options, including a 3-position pickup selector and dedicated upper-circuit controls for the neck pickup.

A gold anodized aluminum pickguard, aged white plastic parts, chrome hardware, and the large '60s-style headstock give the guitar a unique vintage-inspired appearance. The Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece provide solid tuning performance and expressive vibrato capability.

Finished with vintage-style tuners and J Mascis' signature on the back of the headstock, this signature Jazzmaster combines distinctive styling, versatile electronics, and stage-ready performance.
