1962 Fender Deluxe 6G3 Brownface

A fantastic 1962 Fender Deluxe 6G3, one of the most desirable amplifiers from Fender’s Brownface era.

With approximately 20 watts, two 6V6GT power tubes and bias-modulated tremolo, the 6G3 delivers warm cleans, strong mids, touch-sensitive compression and raw, harmonically rich overdrive when pushed.

Period-Correct Jensen Speaker

The amplifier is fitted with a vintage Jensen C12NF replacement speaker dating from the 51st week of 1962.

This is an authentic period-correct Jensen, but it is not the speaker originally installed in the amplifier.

The damaged original tube chart was replaced with a correct custom-made reproduction from Northstage, UK.

Cabinet and Grille Cloth

The amplifier wears rare, genuine vintage wheat grille cloth. It is correct for the period but was not originally installed on this particular amplifier, replacing a reproduction Oxblood cloth.

Several small holes remain beneath the cabinet from previously fitted additional feet. The inside of the bottom panel was also painted clear blue at some point. Neither affects operation.
