Ludwig Polar White Brass USA snare drum 14x6.5

What a clean look! I have not been able to find any more drums offered in this configuration, which leads me to believe this may be a prototype snare. It is definitely a USA brass shell. The tag number decodes to April of 2024 as a COB shell, but the shell is painted Polar White. The only white shells I’ve seen are the Polar Phonic models with copper hardware. Obviously, this one has chrome, plus straight hoops and claws. The white paint does have a couple of tiny flaws in its application (supporting the prototype theory), and there is one scratched spot that is hidden by the hoop. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. Super fun to play and sounds fantastic. It’s pretty unique to have a “White Beauty” instead of a Black Beauty!

EDIT: I spoke with someone from Ludwig, who tells me they do not put the bar code labels in prototype drums. So that suggests this drum may indeed be the result of someone buying a copper hardware drum and spending hundreds more to outfit with chrome. In light of this, but recognizing you can't recreate the same look for this price, I am now dropping the price substantially.
