Maths is the module that started more Eurorack journeys than anything else ever made — and it's still irreplaceable a decade later. Used in more professional and experimental rigs worldwide than any other single module. Gently used, excellent condition, fully functional.

What it is:

MATHS builds on the tradition set into motion in the 1960s when Don Buchla adapted circuits found within analog computers for musical purposes. Buchla's Algebraic Processor, Model 257 and 281 changed the way music synthesizers utilize control voltages. In practical terms: Maths is simultaneously a dual function generator, dual envelope, dual LFO, slew limiter, lag processor, signal inverter, attenuverter, unity mixer, CV summer, and analog logic processor — all in 20HP. It's the closest thing to an analog computer that fits in a Eurorack case.

Four channels:

• Ch. 1 and Ch. 4 — full Rise/Fall function generators with variable curve (logarithmic to exponential), End of Rise (EOR) and End of Cycle (EOC) trigger outputs, and manual trigger buttons. Can self-cycle as LFOs, run as envelopes, or operate at audio rate as oscillators.
• Ch. 2 and Ch. 3 — attenuverters with offset, for inverting, attenuating, and mixing signals

Sum and OR outputs — combine all four channels for complex modulation signals

CV inputs on Ch. 1 and Ch. 4 — voltage control over Rise and Fall times

Both channels can operate as:

• AD envelope (triggered)
• LFO (self-cycling)
• Slew limiter / lag processor (portamento)
• Audio-rate oscillator
• Signal follower / envelope follower
