For Sale: Bach Stradivarius 37 Trumpet – A True Player’s Horn - Priced to Sell

I’m honestly a bit reluctant to let this Bach Stradivarius 37 go. Even though I wasn’t the first owner, this trumpet has quickly become one of those special instruments that just clicks. It has that classic Strad character players dream about — warm and rich when you want it, bright, powerful, and projecting when you open it up, with outstanding clarity and response from top to bottom. This horn truly sings and feels alive in your hands. It plays so freely and in tune that it almost feels like an extension of yourself, making every style feel effortless — whether you’re playing big band, orchestra, jazz, or practicing at home.

The trumpet was professionally cleaned and polished recently, and it looks crisp and shiny. The valves are smooth and fast, the slides move freely, and the intonation is excellent across the entire range. Cosmetically, it’s in very good condition overall. There are a few minor dings, including a couple on the third valve slide, along with a very slight and hardly noticeable bend on the bell. These are small, typical signs of use and have zero impact on the sound or playability whatsoever.

It has been well cared for and recently serviced so it’s gig-ready right out of the case. This is the kind of Strad 37 that musicians get attached to — responsive, reliable, and full of that legendary Bach sound and feel.

It comes with a nice set of extras to get you playing right away, including two high-quality Denis Wick mutes in excellent condition, an additional good mute, a full cleaning kit, two Bach mouthpieces that pair beautifully with the horn, and brand new slide grease and valve oil.

The original case is also in excellent condition. Both zippers function smoothly and stay on their tracks, though one zipper pull handle is missing (it still operates normally). This is a genuine, great-playing Bach Strad 37 that delivers the tone and performance players love. I’m pricing it to move because I want it to go to someone who will truly appreciate and enjoy it. Life circumstances mean it’s time for a new home, but I’ll definitely miss this one.
