Built during Taylor’s golden era in El Cajon, California, this guitar combines the crisp projection of a classic Sitka Spruce top with the sweet, complex warmth of old-growth Koa.
The Good:
Stunning Tonewoods: The flamed Koa back and sides feature dramatic three-dimensional figuring and a beautiful golden-amber hue.
Golden-Era Build: Features the high-end abalone rosette detailing and factory gold Grover tuning machines.
Onboard Electronics: Equipped with the original, era-correct factory Fishman Prefix Onboard Blender system (microphone/under-saddle pickup blend).
The Bad:
This guitar has lived a full life and shows cosmetic defects.
The gold Grover tuning machines show cosmetic oxidation and patina typical of a vintage player instrument.
