Ibanez FTM33 - Black
Our users rate Reverb
Up for sale is an incredible Ibanez FTM33 Fredrik Thordendal Signature 8-String in the stunning, grain-textured Weathered Black finish. Designed in collaboration with the legendary Meshuggah guitarist, this instrument is the ultimate machine for heavy, down-tuned, percussive riffs and intricate progressive metal polyrhythms. The foundation of this guitar is its rock-solid 7-piece maple/walnut neck-through construction reinforced with KTS Titanium rods. Combined with ash body wings, it delivers an enormous amount of natural resonance, punch, and infinite sustain. At the heart of its massive sound are a pair of passive Lundgren Model M8P humbuckers. These pickups are famous for maintaining absolute note clarity, tightness, and a signature aggressive midrange "djent" bark, even when executing drop-tuned low-end work. The extended 27-inch scale length provides perfect string tension across all 8 strings without sacrificing playability. It is equipped with a comfortable, double-locking FX Edge III-8 fixed bridge that pairs Floyd Rose-style saddle comfort with the tuning stability of a hardtail.Specifications:
