1991 Heritage Eagle ASB – Single Pickup | Vintage Sunburst Jazz Box | USA Handmade
If you’re chasing that pure, woody jazz tone with high-level craftsmanship, this 1991 Heritage Eagle ASB delivers in every way. Built in Kalamazoo, Michigan by former Gibson craftsmen, this is a true heirloom archtop from the early years of The Heritage Guitar Company.
This Eagle features the highly sought-after single neck pickup configuration, allowing the carved top to resonate more freely resulting in a warm, open, and incredibly dynamic tone ideal for straight-ahead jazz, swing, and fingerstyle. Responsive to touch—plays beautifully both plugged and acoustically. This guitar delivers everything you’d expect from a high-end carved archtop.
Early ‘90s Heritage archtops are increasingly hard to find, especially in single pickup configuration.
Whether you're a serious jazz player, collector, or studio musician, this is a professional-level instrument with timeless tone and craftsmanship.
Condition
The playability of the guitar is excellent with a refret and setup done by Glaser Instruments, Nashville. The cosmetic condition of the guitar is very good. The top had two noticeable nicks that were drop filled and buffed ( see pics ) along with very small nicks that were filled and buffed that are not noticeable. The guitar feels great and all electronics work perfectly.
