Vintage 1959 Supro Triple Tone Guitar -- Rare and All Original Valco!

This EXTREMELY rare Supro was only available for about one year. Discontinued in 1960, this guitar has three of the legendary, fat-sounding Ralph Keller single coil pickups that deliver tone to the bone!

The gold hardware has faded, but the guitar still has all the original components -- knobs, switch tip, end pins, bridge, and set of Kluson "butterfly" tuners.

The first pic from the internals shows the pick guard off, which interestingly reveals the middle pickup was probably routed at the factory AFTER the paint job. Perhaps they grabbed a bunch of pre-painted Dual Tone bodies to make these.

The second pic shows the original "Made in Chicago" caps.

Needless to say, the guitar in video is not this guitar, and I’m not the player you see. This video is for demonstration purposes only.

NOTE***
I've since noticed a split in the rosewood on the fret board that I hadn't seen before. I've attached another picture.
It seems to be only in the rosewood from about the 9th fret to the heel of the neck.  It does not affect playability, and I can't say for sure whether it's been there the entire time I've owned this guitar.   I've lowered the price by $250 to cover the cost should one want to buy one of the several Supro necks that occasionally turn up for sale her and on ebay.

Guitar is sold WITHOUT case, but I do have an original Valco guitar case (pictured), that fits perfectly, that can be offered.
