The Caroline Kilobyte 2000 is an updated version of the beloved lofi delay, this time with extras that are sure to make it stand out amongst your collection. A direct descendant of the original Kilobyte delay, this updated version offers everything you never knew you needed: a full second of delay, tap tempo, an external FX loop for your most devious signal-routing schemes, and a havoc control for those who believe feedback should be less of a function and more of an experience. Unlike the pristine, high-fidelity delays cluttering the market, the Kilobyte 2000 revels in its lo-fi roots, embracing the flawed charm of the PT-2399 karaoke echo chip. Unapologetically gritty, they didn't clean it up, didn't smooth it out, and certainly didn't bother making it sound analog. Instead, you get a dedicated drive preamp that lets you clip the repeater circuit into beautifully unhinged territory. And should you find yourself craving even more sonic destruction, the new Sharpness control lets you choose between Bark and Bite for different preamp voicings. Add the Kilobyte 2000 to your lineup for a unique and musical delay.
