Vintage 1930's Western Electric "Candlestick" modernized now Dynamic Microphone

Offering a vintage 1930's era Western Electric "Candlestick" style, updated dynamic microphone. These units are basically a similar style to what Western Electric produced for the Bell Telephone System. They were even outfitted with the same carbon elements that required a special power source to operate, but had a very limited frequency response. We removed the carbon capsule and installed a dynamic capsule, allowing this microphone to function with any modern amplifier or sound system with a regular mic input. (Check out the voice sample on the listing video.) Now you have that wonderfully classic style, featuring a nickel finish on both the upper and lower base section, providing improved sound quality with today's compatibility, like any other dynamic microphone. The upper "horn" section is Bakelite, as is the center grip pole, with a rubber mat under the base to protect your desk from scratches. The unit is hardwired to a 5 foot cable with male 1/4" phono plug.
