This is a good condition King Student Level Double French Horn. It definitely shows signs of age cosmetically, but internally still functions as it should with nice clean smooth slides and rotors that feel easy as ever to press. It is a good playing horn that has likely been a good playing horn for many years.
This is one of the traits that defines a good King instrument, reliability, durability, and a timeless feel and sound any level of player could appreciate. This horn in particular is an old H.N White manufactured double horn made in Cleveland, Ohio.
Some things to note are that there is very little original lacquer left on this instrument (pictured), and there is lots of wear showing this horn as a vintage pick. It also is stamped "city of Pittsburgh" also pictured.
While this is not a luxury horn choice, it is a good priced functioning instrument from one of the most long living brass brands respected for their lasting quality, and could be a good pick for a collector or student who is into the vintage look!
H.N White Double Horns feature a .468" Bore and a 12" bell. Includes Case and Mouthpiece!
