DESCRIPTION
Few guitars have achieved the iconic status of the Ibanez Iceman, and the IC420MFM proudly continues that bold tradition. First introduced in the late ‘70s and adopted by countless players across genres and generations, the Iceman’s unmistakable silhouette and powerful tone make it a true standout on any stage.
The IC420MFM features a stunning Flamed Maple top that showcases elegant wood grain beneath a high-gloss finish, perfectly matched with an Okoume body that delivers a bright, punchy tone with rich sustain. The lightweight construction and contoured shape offer both visual impact and playing comfort.
A fast-playing Okoume neck with a crisp-sounding Maple fretboard provides excellent upper-midrange clarity and bright attack—perfect for rhythm crunch or searing lead tones. Medium frets allow for smooth playability and accurate intonation across the board.
At the heart of the IC420MFM’s tone are the legendary Super 80 pickups, complete with their iconic “Flying Finger” engraved covers. Known for their articulate voice and clean brightness, these pickups bring vintage tone and modern edge together in one versatile setup.
Additional pro features include a Gibraltar Performer bridge for rock-solid tuning stability and long sustain, along with the Quik Change III tailpiece that makes restringing fast and hassle-free.
Complete with an Ibanez gig bag, the IC420MFM is more than a guitar—it’s a statement piece, built for players who want history, tone, and attitude in one unforgettable instrument.
