The L Series comes in three body shapes: “LL,” “LJ,” and “LS.”

The model we’ve just received is the “LS,” the smallest of the three—the small-body model.

With its thin body, it’s exceptionally comfortable to hold. We highly recommend this size to beginners and anyone who finds the LL size difficult to play.

Despite its small body, it features a 650mm scale length, and you’ll be surprised by its clear tone and rich volume.

While the bass response may seem slightly less pronounced compared to the LL or LJ models, the sound balance is excellent, and the quick response and clear tone are unique to a small body. Because each note is distinct and well-defined, it’s also highly recommended for fingerstyle players.

The top features a solid Ingleman spruce top treated with *ARE*, while the sides and back are made of solid rosewood. Despite its affordable price, you can really feel the brand’s spirit in its commitment to never cutting corners on the elements that directly affect the sound.

*What is A.R.E. treatment?

→ The brand’s proprietary wood modification technology. It’s a groundbreaking process that uses no chemicals whatsoever to give the wood a finish that mimics the appearance of wood that has aged naturally over time.

When you actually play it, you’ll notice that the texture—which has the slight resilience and elasticity characteristic of Ingleman spruce—is interspersed with the lustrous richness typical of rosewood.

Thanks to the A.R.E. treatment, the sound also has a touch of sweetness and a matured quality, resulting in a tone so impressive that you’ll be amazed to think, “Is this really the price?!”

The sound is well-defined when played with a pick, and you’ll also enjoy a rich, nuanced sound when plucking with your fingers.

Additionally, this model comes standard with a passive pickup. You can, of course, plug it directly into an amp. However, if you plan to use it for live performances, I recommend using a separate preamp to allow for more precise sound shaping.
