This 2017 Fender Classic Series ’72 Telecaster Deluxe has been thoughtfully upgraded and refinished into something that feels much more special your run of the mill MIM Tele Deluxe. The body has been refinished with nitrocellulose finish that presents fantastic—smooth, organic, and with that unmistakable nitro feel that makes the guitar come alive in your hands. It has the vibe of a well‑kept vintage piece without trying too hard, and the finish really lets the grain and contours show through.

The electronics have been completely overhauled with high‑quality components: CTS audio‑taper pots, Sprague Orange Drop tone caps, cloth push‑back wiring, a Switchcraft toggle, and a Switchcraft output jack. Everything feels solid, responsive, and musical. The original pickups sound fantastic—full, articulate, and exactly what you want from a Tele Deluxe. The bridge has been upgraded to a Callaham bridge with brass compensated saddles and adds both tonal clarity and improved intonation. The strap buttons have been upgraded to straplocks, making it stage‑ready right out of the case.

Playability is a real strong point here. The frets have just been professionally leveled, crowned, and polished, providing low action and smooth play. The fingerboard edges have been nicely rolled, giving the neck a smooth, broken‑in feel that makes long sessions easy and comfortable. At 7 lbs. 10 oz., it’s light enough to wear for hours without fatigue while still feeling substantial and resonant.

Includes a non‑original Fender hardshell case in good condition.
