Rickenbacker 360 1970 - Burgundyglo

The 1970 Rickenbacker 360 is a transitional semi-hollowbody guitar. It features a maple body, a bound 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with triangle inlays, early "Hi-gain" pickups with threaded polepieces, a "R" style trapeze tailpiece, and "Rick-O-Sound" stereo outputs.

This example is all-original and in quite good condition, showing just a bit of aging/patina to the finish and hardware, some light buckle rash to the rear, and a bit of binding separation at the waist and in the treble cutaway. Uncommon Burgundyglo finish has a gorgeous dark red hue with an opacity that becomes more apparent as the light hits it. Numbers-matching pots date to early '66. Body is marked 365, but it does not appear to have ever had a vibrato installed. Slim C carve neck measures 1.62" wide at the nut and sets up with low, buzz-free action.
