Vintage Akai M-8 Cross Field stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder in working condition. Powered it up and confirmed all functions work — Play, Record, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop. Both VU meters functioning. Left and right channels operational. Sound on Sound capability intact. Clean internals.
This is a tube-driven machine from the mid-1960s, also known as the Roberts 770X in the US market. Built in Japan. Shows cosmetic wear consistent with age but mechanically solid.
