John Mayer “Cypress Mica” — Limited Edition, #1 of 500. A genuine collector's piece: one of just 500 of Mayer's coveted Cypress Mica signature Stratocasters ever made — and remarkably, this is number 1 of the entire run.
Purchased new from Willcut Guitars in 2015 and kept in pristine, home-only condition ever since (apart from regular maintenance), it's about as close to new as a used example gets. The shimmering Cypress Mica finish is unmistakable, and Mayer's custom-wound “Big Dipper” pickups deliver that signature clarity and warmth — equally at home in blues, pop, and everything in between.
