The Gibson ES125 is a beautiful example of mid-century craftsmanship. This 1960 Cherry Sunburst ES125TC is a beauty for any player.

The ES125's lightweight hollowbody delivers a warm, resonant tone with a rich midrange. Which is perfectly amplified by the original P90 pickup. The guitar is perfect for players who appreciate the subtle nuances of their picking technique. The placement and style of your picking hand can significantly shape the sound, allowing for a wide range of sounds, from soft, jazzy tones to sharper, aggressive bluesy tones. The cutaway gives great access to the entire neck. This versatility makes the ES125 a favorite among players who value expressiveness and tonal variation.

With its 10" rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable C-profile mahogany neck, the playability of this instrument is excellent. The volume and tone controls on the ES125, together with the single P90 pickup, provide a surprisingly wide palette of sounds.

This ES125 from 1960 is in good condition. Naturally, some playwear can be found. The tailpiece attachment seems to be replaced. At the bottom of the body a noticeable crack can be found.

Comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
