A rare 1928 vintage pro 7 ring model Boehm system clarinet In A by Buffet Crampon of Paris.. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a bore of .575". Body pieces are original, no cracks or repairs, barrel is an Evette Buffet with a couple repaired hairlines. I would suggest replacement of the barrel.
It was disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This pro grade clarinet is in great shape for its years and plays with a resonant, open tone and good intonation . Comes with period (possibly original) double case in clean, solid condition.
