This was purchased this May 2026, installed for a week, and put back in the box. I do not regret trying it, and doubt that you will! It largely works as advertised.
In my case, I wanted it specifically for a carbon fiber guitar, and I'm afraid it simply doesn't sound it's best on the plastic body via my hearing aids. Everyone else thinks it's great, but prefer my acoustic's to just be what they are. Really cool form-factor though!
It's basically brand new, although (of course) removing the x-brace deformed the Adhesive dots. As per the web-site, that's available in most hardware stores:
