This Kenwood KR-9400 has undergone an extensive restoration and is fully operational. Known for its outstanding tuner section, powerful amplifier, and detailed yet musical sound signature, the KR-9400 is widely regarded as one of Kenwood's most desirable vintage receivers
Restoration work includes:
• Complete electrolytic capacitor replacement (NIchicon UFG series gold tune in the signal path)
• Power supply restoration( New protection relay, new 15000uf, 100V for main caps).
• Amplifier board service and calibration
• Thorough cleaning of all controls and switches
• Bias and DC offset adjustment
• Functional testing of all inputs and outputs and DEL relamping
- Cherry wood side case (no wrapping)
