Selling this pair of Focal Alpha 65 monitors, purchased brand new in 2021. They were a great set of monitors, I did a lot of tracking with them, and mixed a few records. Great clear sound, full-bodied, and nice imaging. I like them a lot.

They started having an issue in 2025 where a couple frequencies distorted slightly (I think it was around 300 hz on one, and 600 hz on the other). Brought them in to British Audio here in Nashville, which is the regional authorized Focal repair shop. They tested the speakers independently of the power amps, and also tested the power amps independently of the speakers. Their diagnosis was that the speakers themselves are totally but, but there is an issue with each of the power amps, and it would be a lot of money to dig in further. Usually Focal would replace them, but I was slightly out of warranty (they do 5 years on the speakers, but only 3 years on the power amps, alas...), and they said that Focal didn't have any of the parts left anyway (British Audio spoke directly with Focal). (By the way, also found was that one of the "sensitivity" switches on the back only functions in the +6 setting).

Do you need replacement speaker cones for yours? Have a use for the enclosures? Want to dig into the power amp issue? Want to use them for low/medium volume pleasure listening? They still function ultimately very well, there's just those slight distortions on those distinct frequencies that make them untrustworthy for critical listening/mixing. Make me an offer!
