Here is a beautiful limited run Gibson LP-295 in MINT condition. It’s from a 2008 “Guitar of the Month” series and is number 389 of 1000. I am the original owner and purchased this guitar as a collectible item. I’ve only played it a couple of times and it has never left my home studio. The condition is flawless. No scratches, dings, tarnished hardware, or blemishes.

• Also of note, the mahogany back on this example is one piece. Many of them were made by gluing two pieces together, which is typically visible by a center seam running from the neck joint to the lower strap button. This one is clearly one piece, the way a Les Paul should be made.

The guitar’s design combines elements of a ‘57 Les Paul Standard, e.g., solid body, gold top, and humbuckers, with elements of the famed ES-295, e.g., split parallelogram inlays on a rosewood fretboard, bound holly venere headstock, florentine cutaway, and floral-design pickguard. As a bonus, Gibson included a classic Bigsby B7 tremolo for this limited run model. A nice touch!

It’s simply breathtaking visually, and has that classic Les Paul tone, due to the solid body, maple top, and dual classic ‘57 humbuckers.
