Legendary jazz guitarist Johnny Smith had historically designed highly successful instruments with both Guild and Gibson, but left Gibson due to quality and consistency concerns. Upon the formation of Heritage Guitars by former Gibson artisans, Smith collaborated with them to create this highly ornate, X-braced masterpiece.
Made in 1998. These were only made for about 10 years and possibly only 60 of these were made.
