Vintage 1960's Kent M-20 crystal bullet microphone High Z Harp w Atlas stand Olson Lafayette Aiwa Philmore

       Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

 You are looking at a rarer early Japanese bullet style microphone that only pops up once in a  blue moon. This is a 1950's era Kent brand crystal microphone called the M-20. This obscure mic company built several crystal and dynamic model mics during the 1950's and 60's before going out of business. The mic comes with the newer Atlas DS-5 model desk stand in which to display.

 This mic has been tested and has an excellent working original crystal element but sadly there is no cable provided as these Japanese cables are quite hard to come by.

 The M-20 was a very unique design and the mic is actually a plastic or bake lite design which was common for those early Japanese microphones. It's very lite weight and fairly rugged. The mic with a good working cable would be a very fun mic to use with a harmonica.

 The M-20 has a nice grey on white color scheme with a clean front cloth pop filter. The mic also has the built in lower joint mechanism allowing the mic to tilt forward and backward as needed once screwed onto any stand you'd prefer to use. There is virtually no wear to this mic as it was very gently used over the past 70 years. Please let the detailed pics be your guide. I would rate the mic a true 9 on a scale of 1 - 10. It will make a very nice addition to any vintage mic collection or museum.

 The Atlas DS-5 model mic stand is a newer 1980's model. It makes for a very handsome and stable platform. The stand is a painted cast iron design with the 6 inch chrome riser.

 You can see there is just a few small scratches and cuff marks on the original black painted finish but it's free of any dents or fractures. The 3 original rubber pads are in excellent shape as well. No signs of rust.

 The stand with mic is appx 12 inches tall X 6 inches wide.
