For sale is my Ibanez AS153 Artstar semi-hollow electric guitar in Antique Yellow Sunburst, upgraded with a matched pair of Seymour Duncan ’59 humbuckers:

• SH-1n ’59 Neck
• SH-1b ’59 Bridge

The guitar includes its original Ibanez hardshell case.

The AS153 is a high-quality, 335-style semi-hollow with a beautifully figured flame maple body, bound ebony fingerboard, bone nut, gold hardware and Ibanez’s comfortable Artstar neck. It has a 24.75-inch scale length and 22 frets. The original model was also equipped with a Tri-Sound switch for additional neck-pickup wiring options.  

The Seymour Duncan ’59 set gives it a warm and articulate vintage PAF-style sound. It works especially well for jazz, blues, classic rock, fusion, worship and clean-to-medium-gain tones.

It plays and sounds great. I am selling it because I mainly play my Les Paul, and this guitar is not getting the use it deserves.

Condition

The guitar is in very good used condition.

There are normal signs of use, including some wear and tarnishing on the gold hardware. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. I have tried to photograph the guitar honestly from several angles.
