Nice old 1966 reissue Fender Jazzmaster in Three Tone Sunburst over lightweight alder body with 3-ply red tort pick guard. Meticulous attention to detail, as you’d expect from a Japanese built Fender. You wont find a better crafted Jazzmaster. It's built to vintage ’66 specs with all the good stuff: solid alder body, maple neck, nice dark streaked rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Really resonant too and feels great to play. This is a great looking Jazzy. Nice maple grain all over the headstock (front & back) and neck. Also lots of great alder grain is visible underneath the sunburst body. Has been sitting in its case for a while so a little dusty but plays beautifully. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. In very good condition with a deep shine. Over 25+ years old now so has bumps, scuffs and. a few little paint nicks here and there but in good condition for the era with no big paint chips. It's not a sterile shop-floor sitter and looks all the better for it. Complete with trem arm & Fender branded softcase. Weight is great at 3.6kg. A cool old '66 RI Fender CIJ Jazzmaster. A keeper for sure.
