This is the Big Monk Devices Electric Monktress Vintage Analog Flanger pedal. It is a faithful sonic recreation of the classic EHX Electric Mistress pedal of the 1970s. There's no other flanger like the Electric Mistress. It was the flanger of choice of David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Andy Summers of The Police. The Monktress gets all of the tone right, and does it without any of the bypass tone-suck that the originals were known for.

Here's a rundown of the controls:

  • COLOR: On many flanger pedals, this is called regen or resonance. It's a feedback control that allows some of the output to feed back into the input for longer, deeper flanging.
  • RANGE: This is the depth or width control. Turning it clockwise will increase the intensity of the flanging.
  • RATE: This adjusts the speed of the modulation. Turn it clockwise for faster flanging.
  • TOGGLE: This switches between flanging and the filter matrix mode. The filter matrix disengages the RATE knob, giving you a static pitch shift on top of your dry signal.

This Monktress is in excellent condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks and switches are all clean and quiet. It will come in the original box. You must power the Electric Monktress with an 18-volt pedalboard power supply.
