Up for sale is a highly collectible and legendary piece of Ibanez history: a 1991 Ibanez USA Custom Graphic Series (UCGR1) "Surprise", featuring the stunning hand-airbrushed artwork by the iconic artist Pamelina H. (fully signed on the front).

Rare Factory Upgrade Configuration

While the vast majority of the "Surprise" models left the factory with standard dot inlays, this specific transition-era or custom-ordered specimen features the highly desirable factory-upgrade Rosewood fretboard with full binding and Sharktooth inlays. Furthermore, it comes equipped with the original, hard-hitting IBZ/USA F3 humbucker in the bridge position (designed by DiMarzio), offering a massive, thick mid-range punch that perfectly complements the HSS single-coil configuration (C1/C2)

Condition Report (Sold "As-Is" / Project Piece)

This guitar has been safely stored and unplayed for the last 15 years. It is 100% functional but is being sold strictly "As-Is" as a light restoration project for a collector who wants to bring a rare gem back to its full glory.

 The Graphic & Paint: Excellent news for collectors—the main front graphic and Pamelina's signature are 100% intact, clean, and untouched. There is a noticeable paint chip/ding on the very edge of the tip of the upper horn (please see the detailed macro photos). It is confined entirely to the side/edge and does not cross into or ruin the front artwork. There are typical light swirls and minor signs of handling on the back and sides.

Missing Items: The original hard case and the tremolo arm (whammy bar) are NOT included in this sale.
