NOS Vintage U67 head with original KK67 brass capsule inside. SN8953.
This is a spare head, from the 60s. It’s new old stock, never opened or used, only for testing. The original Neumann wax seal is still covering one of the screws. Drefahl Audio has certified this head to be original, working, and new, as seen in his letter statement.
Im not taking pictures inside as Im not going to remove the wax seal. I did my best to show how’s inside by using a flashlight. Its noticeable the capsule has either the fiber rings or brass rings. The capsule holder features a metal ring to hold the capsule and the yellow sponge below seems intact. The switches and contact pins are mint and shiny, which also proves this head has not been used.
