Up for sale is a vintage Electro-Harmonix DRM16 Digital Rhythm Matrix Model 01, made in New York City, U.S.A.
This is one of the more unusual and collectible Electro-Harmonix creations from the late 1970s. Housed in the classic large brushed aluminum EHX enclosure, the DRM16 offers 16 rhythm patterns spanning Funk, Disco, Rock, Latin, Reggae, Country, Shuffle and more. The intuitive layout features Volume, Tempo, Style, Column and Delete controls, allowing you to quickly dial in grooves and remove selected percussion voices for stripped-down patterns and creative arrangements.

This unit is in very good vintage cosmetic condition. The graphics remain bright and legible, with normal signs of age including light scratches, scuffs, and wear to some knobs and the bottom plate as shown in the photos. The attached power cord appears original.
The DRM16 was only produced for a short period and is now considered a rare and collectible vintage drum machine, prized for its quirky lo-fi rhythms and unmistakable late-'70s Electro-Harmonix character.
