Fender Custom Shop Artisan Maple Burl Jazz Bass NOS - Aged Natural 2024

Up for sale is a 2024 NOS Fender Custom Shop Artisan Maple Burl Jazz Bass. I purchased this new from Chicago Music Exchange. While I like the bass, I'm not really a Jazz guy. It's one of maybe three Jazz basses I've ever liked and bought it. It's not really getting used and it's too nice of a bass to have sitting around so I'm moving it on.

• Maple roasted flame neck
• 60 Jazz Bass U shaped neck with the NTTINT NCL finish
• .790 (1st fret) - .990 (12th fret)
• 9.5" radius
• 6150 Medium Jumbo frets
• Dark rosewood fretboard
• Mother of pearl dots (fretboard and side)
• Lollipop tuners
• 64 Jazz Bass VVT controls
• Handwound 60s Vintage Jazz Bass pickups (neck/bridge)
• 2 piece ash body
• Maple flame burl 4A top
• 64 Jazz Bass 4-ply tort pickguard
• RSD Deluxe bass bridge

On my postal scale, it comes in around 9.5 pounds.

Cosmetically I would say it's in great condition with signs of light use. 

• Shows some signs of playing on the pickguard up by the E string. 
• There are some light scratches on the back (one up by the four bolt plate, and some down in the lower right where it would hit your leg if sitting). 
• I only can see one very small ding on the bottom lower right on the top close to the jack.

These are super hard to capture because of the light color and any light hitting it I can't seem to get on camera. I'm being extra fussy about anything visually I can see to portray its honest condition. My feedback here and elsewhere speaks for itself so I'm not trying to mislead anyone that this has no cosmetic flaws. I am saying "Very Good" for condition because it's not perfect.

It plays and sounds great. It's currently strung up with Rotosound RS77LEs and higher action. You'll need to get it set up the way you want with your strings and action.

Comes with all the original case candy (strap, booklets, etc.), the floor traveler, OHSC, and the pickup cover. I took it off since I have higher action. If it's not pictured, it's not included.
