Here’s a little short scale mustang clone that has a scale length of 23”. It’s shorter than a Jaguar but isn’t super cramped and is really fun to play. The high E string is doubled like a 12 string. One string is attached to a hardtail tailpiece so when you use the jazzmaster style tremolo one note dives and the other stays the same. Really fun effect when used with fuzz and great for leads. This guitar also features a vintage Teisco pickup that sounds very vibey and cool.
This guitar is made of parts I had around the shop many of which are old or used. They show their age with some scratches and marks but are all solid as a rock. Check the video below to hear it rocking.
