For sale is my Fender Custom Shop 1955 Precision Bass NOS in beautiful 2-tone sunburst.
I purchased this bass new and it has remained in collector condition. It has never been gigged, modified, or altered. The original case is essentially unused — the protective foam is still on the handle — and all original documentation/case contents are included.
This bass weighs just 8.2 pounds as pictured, making it an exceptionally comfortable and well-balanced ash Precision Bass.
This is a very unique Custom Shop ’55 P Bass build featuring a hand-wound ’55 Precision Bass pickup, nitro lacquer NOS finish, ash body, vintage hardware, and a rare ebony fingerboard specification.
The NOS finish gives you the look and feel of a brand-new vintage Fender without artificial relic wear. The bass has naturally aged only from careful ownership.

Condition is exceptional. This is about as close as you will find to buying a Custom Shop instrument new from Fender. There are some superficial scratches from normal playing. This bass has never left my climate controlled home since the day I received it.
Only selling because I am moving toward a different era Precision Bass. This has been a fantastic instrument and has been carefully stored and maintained since new.
