1978 Vintage Texas Instruments Speak & Spell (NOT CIRCUIT BENT)

----------------------

This is the real deal : Texas Instruments original Speak & Spell push button model from 1978 (which can be seen in the classic movie "ET"), not a newer remake(which most for sale are)...

This model has a built in audio output and power suppy input.

------------------------------

---------------------------------------

It is NOT CIRCUIT BENT, but it certainly is a prime candidate to be bent at your own risk of course !

Otherwise just plug it in and sample it and keep it original as a vintage collectors piece !

-------------------------------

Fully tested, everything works great with batteries or a 6v (tip positive) DC power supply.

There is a slight bit of fading on the display (see pics).

The battery cover is from a TI speak & read, which is exactly the same cover except yellow.

Does NOT come with batteries or power supply.

NOTE REGARDING BATTERIES: I have had multiples of this old 1978 push button models throughout my past and every one of them the batteries are hard to get in, but it does work with batteries! It's such a close fit that some brands batteries seem to fit better than others.
