The Heet EBow Plus is a handheld device that creates infinite sustain on electric guitar strings by generating a magnetic drive field. It sits directly over the string near the pickup and produces bowed, horn-like, or synth tones without any external processing. The Plus model adds a second mode for brighter, more aggressive response compared to the standard EBow.
Operation is simple: power it on with the 9-volt battery, place the blue LED end over the string, and control volume and tone by how close you hold it to the pickup. The device works on the string itself rather than through pedals, so response changes with position and pressure. It is commonly used for volume swells, violin-style leads, and harmonic-rich textures.
