Tris Imboden’s professional career has spanned 6 decades and is going strong!  From his first professional gig was in 1970 with the now legendary HONK, and his current gig with The Tris Imboden Yacht Stars, Tris has performed with A-list music icons including Neil Diamond, Kenny Loggins, Firefall, Richard Marx, Steve Vai, Roger Daltrey, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Chicago, Anita Baker, Julio Iglesias, Stevie Wonder and many more. Highlights of his career include driving Kenny Loggins' "Footloose", and "I'm Alright” to the top of the charts plus a 28 year gig as a member of Chicago.

Tris amassed a massive collection of drum gear over his six decade career. He’s decided to keep just enough to cover his current gigs, and asked my help finding worthy homes for the remainder of his collection. 

Tris Imboden’s endorsement relationship with Paiste began in 2007 and is going strong almost 2 decades later. 

Paiste Signature Full Crash cymbal owned by Tris Imboden of Chicago. These have a bright, warm tone, broad dynamic range, and smooth musical sustain. Formerly part of the touring and recording inventory of longtime Chicago drummer Tris Imboden. This crash is well worked in, but in great condition, no cracks, dents or key-holing.
