Gibson Explorer 1976 - Burnt Orange

1976 Gibson Explorer. Serial Number 00239876. This 1976 Refinished Gibson Explorer is the epitome of Rock & Roll and has tons of "vibe". I Purchased it from Emerald City Guitars in 2024 as a collection piece & have barely played it. Guitar just screams. Plays amazing with a full C-profile neck and sounds fantastic, producing a warm/rich tone w/excellent clarity from the DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and Seymour Duncan in the neck. Has been updated prior to me purchasing it with several replaced parts... The tuners for sure (but don't ask me what else). Obviously, this guitar has been played hard (see pics), but is in great cosmetic shape with a well-worn aesthetic that belongs on the stage. A Killer player-grade Explorer that includes an almost new Gibson Custom case. This guitar was featured in the Emerald City Guitars weekly newsletter.... not sure of the date, but you could probably look it up. Here's the excerpt:
