For sale is an Artisan Strings Model 60 1/2-size cello, manufactured in 2007 and distributed by the Gemeinhardt Company. This student-oriented instrument is ideal for younger players, school orchestra programs, or anyone seeking a quality fractional-size cello at an affordable price.
Finished in a warm amber-brown varnish, this cello offers a traditional appearance with clean craftsmanship throughout. It is equipped with an ebony-style fingerboard, composite tailpiece with four fine tuners, adjustable endpin, and is ready for its next owner. A gig bag is included for convenient transportation and storage.
Condition
This cello is in good used condition and functions as intended. The instrument shows normal cosmetic wear from regular use, including light scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and finish marks throughout the body. There is noticeable finish wear on the back of the neck from handling and position tape markers have been applied to both the fingerboard and neck for student use.
The top, back, sides, bridge, tuning pegs, tailpiece, and endpin all appear intact and functional. No major cracks or structural damage were observed during inspection. Please review all photos carefully for a complete understanding of the instrument's cosmetic condition.
