Hello. It’s been a while since I posted new sounds, because I been very busy designing new sounds for the LinnDrum and Drumtracks. This took me a very long time to get right. I couldn’t do this with out modern technology and the Oberheim Prommer. It took me months to design. You can’t just sample something and think it’s going to come out right. I wanted to make something very special to me.
There was a lot of debate if NIN used a sequential circuit drum tracks on the song closer, they used a Roland R-70. I own a Roland R-70. I went through the entire machine to design the sounds exactly like they were on the record.
Yes they sampled Iggy Pop Night clubbing. So I sampled it and made it for the toms for the Drumtracks. I added some extra R-70s sounds, and I added a FairLight Simmons toms.
This is the ultimate industrial kit. And probably 1 or 1. I’m not sure if I will make this ever again.
I just want to thank everyone that supports my art. Over the past 6 years I designed for almost every big producer in the industry. So I’m very grateful people still want original sounds for their machines they love.
