This is a great recording amplifier. It does that one sound really well and has 2 different sized speakers to possibly find microphone voicings. This amplifier combo is not a Fender. The metal amp chassis here was originally from a Custom Shop Fender 2 Tone Amp that caught on fire while being demoed at Edmond Music by Darren. The amp was then taken to Colins Amplification in Edmond, Ok. Colins gutted the chassis and built his "Bristol 15" circuit inside.
After many gigs/sessions, the Output Transformer Colins used failed. The amp was taken to Protronics in Oklahoma City where new Matchless transformers were installed and a few circuit changes were performed. The Fender 2 Tone Cabinet has custom Celestion G-12H and a Celestion Greenback 10. It has only been used a few times after the overhaul at Protronics. It has Mullard tubes currently installed.
