I purchased this Classic 1965 Fender Mustang guitar brand new in 1965 from a music store in Youngstown, Ohio. Over the next two or three years I played in a few local bands, and in early 1970, I quit playing to concentrate on my undergrad studies. At that time, I stored the guitar.
In early 2014, I met a luthier by chance, and asked him if he would take a look at my guitar and advise me on it's condition and what it needed to getready to sell. As you can see from some of the attached photos, he completely disassembled and inspected the guitar, determined that it was completely factory original, and that the bone nut needed to be replaced. In March of 2014, after final inspection and basic troubleshooting, he returned the guitar to me, and I once again stored it.
I am now offerring this beautiful classic Fender Mustang for sale. I have listed it in Very Good shape because of a chip on the lower front of the body, otherwise and my personal opinion, the guitar is closer to Excellent shape.
