The Catalinbread StarCrash Fuzz is a modernized, 1970s-inspired silicon fuzz pedal with a focus on classic fuzz tones while offering enhanced control. It foregoes the traditional fuzz knob, instead using the guitar's volume for gain and featuring a Bias control for adjusting the fuzz character (from full to sputtery/velcro-like), and a Low-Cut control to remove excess bass frequencies and tighten the sound. It also has a Volume knob to boost the signal and a more powerful output than typical vintage designs to push amps harder.
