The sE Gemini II is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with cardioid polar pattern. This microphone differs from traditional tube mic designs in that it uses separate tubes for input and output stages of the amplifier, 12AX7 and 12AU7, respectively. The output stage tube replaces the typical output transformer.
