Hello! You are looking at a 1925 Buffet Crampon Paris Evette-Schaffer Tenor Saxophone w/ OHSC. Made in Paris, France during Buffet’s celebrated "True Master Model" era, serial number 28156 places this horn right at a golden age of French woodwind craftsmanship. This was Buffet's premier professional offering at the time, built in the same era and workshop tradition that competed directly with early Selmer models. This is a rare, investment-grade instrument perfect for vintage collectors, classical saxophonists looking for a unique tonal palette, or jazz players searching for that authentic 1920s feel!

This saxophone is in great shape for a 100 year old horn! This horn still has it's original lacquer and original bare-brass key touches. The pads are in good shape showing minimal signs of wear, but the action can be improved upon. This horn is being sold as-is. It's certainly playable but would benefit greatly from a professional setup. Throughout the body, minor cosmetic imperfections and expected signs of age are present, none of which impact the functionality of the horn.
