Built in 2022 and finished in Morgan's striking Twilight covering, this MVP66 is an excellent example of one of the company's most versatile amplifiers. Serial number 6172208002 indicates production during the 8th week of 2022 and identifies this amp as the second unit produced in that manufacturing run. Built around a pair of KT66 power tubes and Morgan's highly regarded Power Level control, the MVP66 delivers everything from sparkling cleans to thick British overdrive while allowing the output to be adjusted anywhere between 1 and 50 watts.

While not a direct clone of any particular vintage amplifier, the MVP66 draws heavily from the lineage of classic British KT66 powered designs. Players familiar with early JTM amplifiers will immediately recognise the broad, three dimensional clean tones, rich harmonic content, and effortless transition into overdrive. There is plenty of vintage British character on tap, but with greater flexibility, tighter low end, and a more refined top end than many traditional designs.

The character of the amp comes from its KT66 power section.
