This is an absolutely stunning Taylor dreadnought. It was a one off dreadnought with mahogany back and sides, wide grain spruce top, maple binding all around, ebony headstock veneer with more maple binding, and a unique arm rest with gorgeous figured mahogany. It has the most incredible looking fretboard with a cool streak in the ebony (my favorite part of this guitar). Someone told me that the back and sides looked like sapele, so I reached out to Taylor and they verified its mahogany. The grain is 3D and pretty.
The guitar sounds huge, tons of volume and an incredibly punchy low end with plenty of sparkle in the highs. I hate to see it go. * there are two tiny dents Im struggling to photograph. One is on the neck below thr headstock? The other is on the top on the lower bout binding. other than that it’s really clean.
