2022 Epiphone ES-335 Figured Block in Blueberry Burst, updated IBG (Inspired By Gibson) model with the more Gibson-like headstock. Top-of-the line model with pearloid headstock and block inlays, 3D flame and binding front and back and a great neck on these identical to current Gibson model. I bought it new and had my guitar tech do the following at over $500 additional for parts and labor. It made this guitar punch way above its weight in every way and much closer to the 7x more costly G version.
- Frets and fretboard prep, new they are gritty, now plays like silk.
- Duncan Seth Lover Bridge/'59 Neck Pickups, pretty big difference from stock.
- Faber locking bridge, aluminum tailpiece. Immediate difference in tone and (especially) sustain.
- The nicer IBG tuners are very solid, stays in tune great, no need to swap.
- Pro setup.
- Includes proper 335-style soft case (firm sides, not floppy gig bag)
